ABOUT US
Tícara is owned and operated by Westport native, Fintan
Conlon, who has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. As the
son of a building contractor, Fintan has grown up in the industry and went on
to gain qualifications in building studies and surveying in the UK, where he
worked as a site supervisor and setting out engineer for one of the largest building
and civil engineering companies in the UK.
On returning home to Westport, while Fintan has spent 15
years operating a highly successful transport business, he maintained his close
links with the construction industry and has decided to return to his roots in
construction by starting up Tícara Building Maintenance Services, which was
developed in response to the demand for commercial and residential maintenance
within the area.
Tícara’s team of local, trusted tradespeople across various
sectors, ensure that its’ customers receive a high standard of works carried
out, with, where required, certification being provided on completed works.
The company provides services across many sectors, from
carpentry, plumbing and electrical services, to painting and decorating, landscape
gardening and general garden and building maintenance services. Tícara also
offers commercial services to landlords, letting agencies, offices and shops.
Another service in the planning for later in 2020, Tícara is
teaming up with local interior design professionals, engineers and architects
to offer a buildings and design consultation services. More on that later.
Currently operating in the Westport, Co.Mayo area and its’
surrounds, Tícara aims to grow into the rest of the county and neighbouring
counties in the future.

EMERGENCY CALL OUT
We are aware that not every job can be carried out Monday to Friday within working hours, so we are putting in place an emergency call out service to cater for out-of-hours call outs.
